FLIGHT SCHOOL MOBILE GAMES PRIVACY POLICY

Effective Date: August 31, 2021

By installing, launching, and/or using Project Flight School, LLC’s (the “Provider”, “we” or “us”) mobile applications or games (individually and collectively, the “App”), you are agreeing with this privacy policy.

This Mobile Games Privacy Policy explains how information about you is collected, used, and disclosed by Provider and any of its affiliates when you access or use the App.

Provider reserves the right to change and modify this privacy policy at any time, without further notice. Provider’s standard privacy policy is available at https://flightschoolstudio.com/privacy-policy. Provider’s standard privacy policy shall also apply to your use of the App, provided, however, that if there is a conflict between the terms of this Mobile Games Privacy Policy and Provider’s standard privacy policy, the former shall govern. Notwithstanding the foregoing, Provider’s standard privacy policy applies to your use of the https://flightschoolstudio.com website.

Collection of Personal Information

The App collects the below types of information:

  • Advertising Identifiers: By using the App, we do not require you to provide information that identifies you personally. Rather, we collect and identify your device primarily using your mobile device advertising identifier (e.g., Apple’s iOS Identifier for Advertising [IDFA] or Google’s Android Advertising ID), as well as other identifiers.

  • General Information: We collect any information that you provide to us (e.g., when you e-mail us, upload content to us, contact our technical support staff, or provide billing information).

  • Device Information: We automatically collect information about your use of the App and your device, including your device model, browser information, operating system type and version, mobile network information, device settings, and software data.

  • Cookie Information and Other Technologies: We collect information using cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies. Cookies are small data files stored on your hard drive or in device memory that help us improve the App and your experience, determine which features are most popular, track number of visits, and understand how users interact with ads. Web beacons are electronic tracking images that may be used in the App and help deliver cookies, track number of visits, and understand usage and campaign effectiveness. For more information about cookies and how to disable them, please see “Your Options” below.

  • Information from Third Parties: We collect information about you when we receive it from third parties such as other users and affiliates. For example, when you connect your account to third party services or sign in using a third party partner (e.g., iOS Game Center, Facebook, or Google Play Game Services), we collect information in accordance with those third parties’ privacy policies and permissive procedures.

Advertising/Analytics Services Provided by Third Parties

We may permit third parties to provide analytics services and serve advertisements on our behalf across the internet and in our App. These entities may use cookies, web beacons, device information, and other technologies to collect information about your use of the App and other websites and applications, including your IP address, web browser, mobile network information, viewed pages, browsing/use time, links clicked, and conversion information. This information may be used by us and third parties to analyze and track data, determine the popularity of content, deliver advertising and content targeted to your interests on our App and other websites, and better understand your online activity.

As we occasionally change third party partners with whom we partner to show you interest-based advertising, please contact us at support@flightschoolstudio.com for a list of our current third party partners.

For more information about interest-based advertising, or to opt out of having your web browsing information used for interest-based advertising purposes, please visit www.aboutads.info/choices or www.youronlinechoices.eu (for individuals in the EU).

Your device may also include a feature (e.g., “Limit Ad Tracking” on iOS or “Opt Out of Interest-Based Ads” or “Opt Out of Ads Personalization” on Android) that allows you to opt out of having certain information collected through apps used for interest-based advertising purposes.

Use of Personal Information

We use the information we collect to provide, personalize, and further develop the App. We also use the information to:

  • Personalize the App and provide advertisements, content, or features that are geared toward your interests and likes;

  • Save and associate your actions across the App and your different devices;

  • Provide or support promotions;

  • Respond to your comments and questions;

  • Send you technical information, security alerts, updates, and support messages;

  • Compile analytics and reports for third parties regarding the use of the App and ads, including showing trends regarding the preferences, effectiveness of ads, and information on user experiences; and

  • Detect and defend against deceitful, harmful, or illegal activity.

Sharing of Information

We share information we collect within our affiliated companies. We do not sell, license or share information that individually identifies our users with companies, organizations, or individuals outside of our affiliated companies unless one of the following circumstances applies:

  • We share information within our affiliated companies;

  • We will share information with third parties only when we have your consent;

  • We provide user information to trusted partners who work at our direction based on our instructions and in compliance with appropriate confidentiality terms;

  • We may use information in connection with any legal process, legal request, enforcement of our Terms of Use or Privacy Policies, compliance with lawful requests, reporting of crimes, user or as otherwise required by law;

  • If ownership or control of Provider or the App changes as a result of a merger, acquisition, or sale, we may transfer your information to the new owner.

How to opt out

You can stop all collection of information indirectly generated by using the App by uninstalling the App. You may use the standard uninstall processes available as part of your mobile device. If you have a linked social account (e.g., iOS Game Center, Facebook, or Google Play Game Services), then you can unlink the App with those providers to disassociate yourself with any stored data.

Most web browsers are set to accept cookies by default. If you prefer, you can typically choose to set your browser to remove or reject cookies; however, the App may not function properly if you do.

You have the ability to turn on or off App notifications by adjusting the settings of your mobile device. Please consult the settings on your mobile device.

Information Security

We have reasonable technical, administrative, and physical safeguards in place to provide protection against unauthorized access, use, or disclosure of information that we collect and/or store. Although we make good faith efforts to store the information collected on the App in a secure operating environment that is not available to the public, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of that information during its transmission or its storage on our systems.  Further, while we attempt to ensure the integrity and security of our network and systems, we cannot guarantee that our security measures will prevent third-party “hackers” from illegally obtaining access to this information.  We do not warrant or represent that your information will be protected against, loss, misuse, or alteration by third parties. No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure, however.  Therefore, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Preservation of Your Information

We store the information that we collect about you for as long as necessary for the purpose(s) for which we originally collected it. We may retain certain information for legitimate business purposes or as legally required.

European Union Resident Information

At any time, you may contact us at the address provided in the “Contact Us” section below and request to access the personal data that we hold about you. Upon such request, we may need to ask you to provide certain information to make sure you are who you claim to be. If you find the information on your account is not accurate, is incomplete, or needs updated, then please provide us with the necessary information to correct it.

Contact us if you would like to withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal data. Exercising this right will not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before withdrawal.

You may request to delete or restrict access to your personal data. We may postpone or deny your request if your personal data is in current use for providing the App or for other legitimate purposes, in which case we will let you know if we are unable to do so and why.

You have the right to receive your personal data that you have provided us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and the right to transmit that data to another party of your choice, where technically feasible. However, this right shall not apply where it would adversely affect the rights and freedoms of others.

If you consider that our processing of your personal data infringes data protection laws, you have a legal right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority responsible for data protection. You may do so in the EU member state of your habitual residence, your place of work or the place of the alleged infringement.

If you have any concerns about the way we process your personal data, you are welcome to contact our data protection officer at the address set forth in the “Contact Us” section below. We will look into your request and make good faith efforts to resolve any concern you may have.

California Resident Information

These additional provisions apply only to individuals who reside in California.  The California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (“CCPA”) provides additional rights to know, delete and opt out, and requires “businesses” collecting or disclosing personal information to provide notice and a means to exercise those rights.

  • Categories of personal information collected in the preceding 12 months

  • Business purpose for collection

  • Third parties with whom we may share your information

For any of the personal information described above, you can request to know what personal information we collected, disclosed, used and sold, and request that we delete your personal information at any time.

To exercise your right to know and right to deletion, please submit a request to the address set forth in the “Contact Us” section below.  Upon such request, we will need to verify your identity before processing your request. In order to verify your identity, we will generally require the matching of sufficient information you provide us to the information we maintain about you in our systems. In certain circumstances, we may decline a request to exercise the right to know and right to deletion, particularly where we are unable to verify your identity.

Upon verification of your request, we will delete (and direct our service providers to delete) your personal information from our records, unless retaining the information is necessary for us or our service providers to detect security incidents or fraud, fixing errors, exercise free speech or another right provided by law, comply with legal obligations, or other internal and lawful uses.

CCPA gives you a right to direct a business that sells your personal information to stop selling your personal information and to refrain from doing so in the future. We do not sell any of your personal information and will require our service providers not to sell your personal information.

You also have the right not to be discriminated against for exercising any of the rights listed above.

If you are a California resident seeking to exercise your rights under the CCPA or have any questions or concerns, please contact us at the address set forth in the “Contact Us” section below.  In certain circumstances, you are permitted to use an authorized agent to submit requests on your behalf where (i) you provide sufficient evidence to show that the requestor is an authorized agent with written permission to act on your behalf and (ii) you successfully verify your own identity with us.

We aim to respond to a consumer request for access or deletion within 45 days of receiving that request. If we require more time, we will inform you of the reason and extension period in writing.

Children's online privacy protection act (COPPA) compliance

The App is not intended for use by children under 16. We do not knowingly collect, use, or share information from children, and in the event that we learn that we have collected personal data from a child under the age of 16, we will delete that information as promptly as possible. If you believe that your child may have provided information to us, please contact us at the address located in the “Contact Us” section below.

Data Transfers

We may transfer information that we collect about you to affiliated entities, or to other third parties across borders and from your country or jurisdiction to other countries or jurisdictions around the world. Please note that these countries and jurisdictions may not have the same data protection laws as your own jurisdiction, and we take steps to ensure adequate safeguards are in place to enable transfer of information to the U.S. and the use and disclosure of information about you, as described in this Mobile Games Privacy Policy.

Changes to this Mobile Games Privacy Policy

We may update this Mobile Games Privacy Policy to reflect changes to our data and information privacy practices. If we make any material changes, we will notify you by revising the “Effective Date” above. We encourage you to periodically review this Mobile Games Privacy Policy for the latest information on our privacy practices.  Please note that if we need to adapt the policy to legal requirements, the new policy will become effective immediately or as required.
