For Super Bowl LI, we collaborated with Momentum Worldwide and Verizon Labs to create the first virtual reality sports game that allowed two fans to go head-to-head against each other in real time. Players took to the field in an NFL Stadium and experienced what it’s like to play pro football.

Director Elliot Dillman brought never-before-done techniques to bare on the project, such as mounting a Nokia Ozo VR camera rig to a SkyCam wire cam system. The 360° footage was then stitched, finished and integrated into a head-to-head multiplayer game that viewers got to play at the Super Bowl fan village in Houston.
